What is Falun Dafa?
Falun Dafa (also known as “Falun Gong”) is a meditation practice guided by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture, it is an ancient cultivation way for improving mind and body.
Falun Dafa has five sets of gentle exercises, including a seated meditation. These are highly effective ways to improve health and energy. Falun Dafa practitioners also study spiritual teachings, taking them as a guide for daily life. At the core of these teachings are the three main values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Falun Dafa teaches that these are the fundamental qualities of the universe. By assimilating to these characteristics, a person can improve both physical health and overall wisdom.

The Spread of Falun Dafa
Falun Dafa was first introduced to the public in China in 1992 by the founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi. Due to its amazing benefit, by 1999, Falun Dafa attracted 100 million people simply by word-of-mouth in seven years. Today Falun Dafa is practiced in more than 70 countries around the world. “Zhuan Falun” – the book of guidance – has been translated into more than 40 languages.
